Flying-Low is a dance training style developed by the Venezuelan dancer David Zambrano. This technique focuses mainly on the relationship of the dancer with the ground. Simple movement patterns involving breath, speed and the release of energy throughout the body are used, in order to activate the relationship between the center and the joints, moving in and out of the ground more efficiently by maintaining a « centered »state of body-mind. A focus is made on the bone structure that will help improve the physical perception and alertness of the dancers.
The class includes movement phrases and exercises that explore some fundamental laws of physics: cohesion and expansion.
