The student gains practical experience in the form of teaching within the Preliminary training of the Dutch National Ballet Academy.
In addition, the NBA has a long-term partnership with Ballet School Marieke van der Heijden. There is also the possibility (in consultation with the artistic director) to give trial lessons.
Due to the intensive collaboration between the NBA and the Junior Company of Dutch National Ballet, BA students can, if desired, attend classes given by various established ballet teachers, sometimes also international guest teachers.
