The Decoratelier of the Academy of Theatre and Dance provides support to the performances in terms of sets and props. These can be borrowed from storage or made in the studio. Items from storage can be borrowed free of charge. There is always a charge for making sets and props. The set studio is not a set-building company, but (always) works with students, for students. The studio staff provide assistance, possess know-how, supervise and monitor the production process and can, for instance, provide space for painting work, in consultation with students.
The decor studio is open from Tuesday to Friday. You can always drop in for small questions, as well as to borrow the key for storage, reserving canvases and floors. For more extensive questions, the studio has a consultation hour: from 9.00 to 9.30 a.m. and from 1.00 to 2.00 p.m. You can come here with your questions, plans and ideas. In addition, an appointment can be made to discuss your idea based on a drawing you bring along. The studio is on the ground floor, to the left behind the main hall.
