The dean informs and advises students on student issues within and outside the programme. The dean can provide information and assistance regarding financial aspects of studying, such as student finance, insurance, funds and grants, awards and regulations. You can also approach the dean about issues concerning the study itself, such as assessments, credits, negative binding study advice or study delay, or if you are unable to perform optimally due to illness or personal circumstances. The dean also offers objective support in situations of disagreement with lecturers, the artistic director or the management. Finally, you can turn to the dean for advice on whether or not to terminate your studies prematurely or permanently and on finding another course of study.
