Study guide

2022-2023

The department is run by the artistic director, who defines the mission and vision, sets artistic and educational goals, curates the program, develops internal and external partnerships, develops and supervises the team and oversees the quality of the studies.
The director is supported by the core staff. Through team work, the education coordinators and coaches contribute to the development of artistic and educational strategies, internationalisation, research, evaluation and planning of the program, and guide the students development.
The management assistant is responsible for administrative and logistic tasks.
The ECD teaching team is a combination of permanent and guests teachers, who are all highly experienced practicing professionals. They give both regular classes and guide workshops throughout the programme.
Throughout their studies, students are guided by coaches in their academic, artistic and personal development.
For their own projects, students receive artistic advice from mentors.
Guest choreographers and artists are often invited to create new works, reconstruct repertoire with and for the students, or give topical workshops related to their artistic practice.
Communication, production and technical departments, as well as student well-being department of ATD support ECD in those matters.
