The basis of high-quality education lies with those who teach it. The teachers of the Dutch National Ballet Academy have all built up a considerable reputation in the professional field. The core team, which supports the artistic director in the day-to-day business, strives to put together a teaching corps that consists of an exciting mix of very experienced but also young, talented dance teachers, so that new ideas about classical dance are also included in the curriculum. Regular meetings contribute to good coordination and interaction between the various teachers.
A coordinator/mentor has been appointed for the new BA track who will guide the students individually. All teachers who teach the Syllabus and Methodology major are experienced NBA teachers. In addition, Grigori Tchitcherine has previously taught the Vaganova course for the NBA in close collaboration with teachers at the Vaganova Academy in St. Petersburg.
