Korte samenvatting van de inhoud
The first semester mainly focuses on research and writing skills as a preparation for the BA thesis. Students learn to formulate a research question, subquestions, APA referencing, and structuring. The second semester introduces certain theories with a focus on cultural studies such as, popular culture, popular music, myth, postmodernism, new media. Here the course entails examples from non-Western (popular) dance and mediatized forms of dance.

Student can apply theories to examples of different contexts of dance.
