The student counsellor informs and advises students on student issues in and outside the study programme. He can give information and offer help regarding the financial aspects of studying, like study financing, insurance, funds and bursaries, prizes and regulations. You can also consult with the student counsellor about actual study issues like assessments, study credits, negative binding study recommendations or study deferment. The student counsellor advises the board of directors if you as student cannot function optimally due to sickness or personal circumstances and also in cases when a student wishes to appeal against a negative binding study recommendation.

The student counsellor offers objective support in disputes between a student and teachers, the artistic director or the board of directors. Students who wish to suspend or definitely terminate their study and switch to a different study can also ask his advice. For more information see intranet.

Talks with the student counsellor are confidential and take place by appointment. The basic assumption is that an orderly planning of so-called practical questions is good for your study and future career.
