Short summary of the content
This subject focusses on teaching. The following will be discussed: transfer based on behavioral indicators, feedback (giving and receiving), making SMART objectives, making personal learning goals, learning styles, dance-related multiple intelligences.
At the end of this period, the student will be able to teach using (personal) SMART goals. The student can demonstrate the corresponding indicators (instruction, voice, attitude as a teacher, own example, guidance, individual and general corrections and evaluation).
The student can monitor his own development and adjust it if necessary by means of feedback and reflection.

Concrete learning goals

  • The student is able to prepare a lesson in a methodical didactic manner by means of SMART learning objectives and with the behavioral indicators as a starting point
  • The student is able to prepare a lesson that is in line with the perceptions and interests of the target group
  • The student is able to give the aforementioned prepared lesson to a group of learners
  • The student is able by means of critical reflection to evaluate a given lesson and if necessary to apply adjustments/improvements and try it next time
  • The student is able to write a paper with teaching as a starting point and using the 'practicing theory' and 'theorizing practice' approach
  • The student can conduct research for a paper using relevant and up-to-date sources
