Professional practice for dancers today is becoming increasingly international. The student population, teaching staff and guest choreographers of the Modern Theatre Dance study programme reflect this international trend. Large numbers of foreign students enrol in the study programme while Dutch students often opt for an internship or a year’s study abroad.
To that end the Modern Theatre Dance study programme maintains contacts with study programmes such as S.U.N.Y. Purchase (New York), the Hochschule für Musik un Tanz (Cologne), the Theatre Academy of Finland, University College of Dance (Stockholm), the University of Dance and Circus (Stockholm), Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst (Frankfurt) and the Arts Umbrella (Vancouver/Canada).
