Study guide

During the dance support classes that include physical fitness, movement analyses, floorbarre, Alexander technique, ATM and Gyrokinese / yoga, students are taught how to apply anatomical and physiological principles in simple movement phrases and active body work. Students work to achieve greater efficiency of movement and improve their body sensation, thereby enhancing physical awareness.

In the floorbarre lessons, emphasis is on correct placement of the body based on specific exercises performed on the floor. It teaches the dance student to use his/her body more effectively. During the physical fitness classes, students improve their overall fitness and learn to maintain a high degree of vitality.

Education is given in groups and is assignment-oriented. Students are obliged to follow the dance support classes and carry out practical assignments together or individually.
