Summary
The Dance Dialogues session aims to introduce students to choreographers and makers operating in the field of dance and performance in the Netherlands, and to facilitate encounters between these professionals and students in the form of dialogues. Throughout the study year guests are invited to inform students on how they work, context of their own work, and their view on dance. The content of the dialogues can vary: from know-how, to artistic collaboration and status of dance as an artform in the economically shifting cultural landscape in the Netherlands. Diversity plays a role in the selection of the makers with a particular focus on dance style and genre.

Content and design of the class
A Dance Dialogue is a 2-hours session where students engage in a dialogue with particular choreographer and maker. At the end of each session students get 30 minutes to write a reflection.
