Every study year students devise their own projects and manage its different components. Whether it is a research assignment, independent choreographic work or an entire production, students learn how to elaborate and realise an artistic goal and vision in a process. They develop their own manner of working and learn how to oversee different aspects of the work process. As student projects are guided by regular feedback from a peer, a coach, or a mentor, the students acquire the tools and the ability to communicate clearly and purposefully, to negotiate, and to offer and accept constructive criticism and feedback. Equally they have the opportunity to find a way to contribute to a common goal, while also being able to attend to their own goal in a group environment.
